Our Programs

Morning programs are offered for children 3 to 5 years of age Monday through Friday. Parents may choose a 2, 3, or 5 morning a week option.  We are a State of Florida approved VPK provider and offer a VPK program.


Class Times & Descriptions


PreK-3 Program (3's) 8:45 AM-12:30PM
For most children the time they spend at A Little Schoolhouse is their first school experience.  Our teachers take special care to provide a fun and nurturing environment to make this transition as smooth as possible. 
Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the morning is a time of learning.  Games abound that teach letter recognition, shapes, colors, pre-reading and writing skills, and hands on exploration.
 Children in the 3's program must be 3 years old by September 1st and must be fully potty trained.

VPK PLUS Program and FREE VPK Programs
For those children eligible for the State of Florida VPK scholarship program (age 4 by Sept. 1st), we offer our VPK and VPK PLUS programs.  The optional VPK PLUS program offers a longer morning, and the opportunity for daily music or art programs.  All of our VPK programs offer low teacher to student ratios, and an exciting curriculum to prepare your child for Kindergarten success. VPK is a free early childhood program available to all 4 year olds in the State of Florida.  There is no charge for the standard VPK program offered at A Little Schoolhouse. VPK PLUS parents will be responsible for the difference in fees for the services not covered by the free State of Florida VPK scholarship.  Spaces in the VPK and VPK Plus programs are limited. 



Stay & Play Extended Day Program (8:45-2:30pm)

For those parents needing a little longer day,the Stay & Play program is for you!  Your child can remain in the care of our loving and qualified teachers while participating in organized, educational activities, outdoor playtime, and snack time.   The Stay & Play program tuition rates and enrollment form is located on our "Enrollment" page along side our standard preschool and vpk forms.
